Engineering Mechanics Program Curriculum

The main professional courses of Engineering Mechanics include:

(1) Core Courses

Theoretical Mechanics, Material Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics,Elasticity, Analytical Mechanics, Numerical Methods in Solid Mechanics (1) : Finite Element Theory, Numerical Methods in Solid Mechanics (2) : Finite Element Experiment, VibrationMechanics, Engineering Application Software and Experiments, Experimental Mechanics, Plasticity, Tensor Analysis and Variational Principles, etc.

(2) Computer-related Courses

Python Programming, Engineering Application Software and Experiments, Numerical    Methods in Solid Mechanics (2) – Finite Element Experiment, Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, Deep Learning Application Development, etc.

(3) Other Professional Courses

Principles of Concrete Structure Design, Principles of Steel Structure Design,  Aerodynamics, Fundamentals ofFlight Mechanics, Advanced Material Mechanics, Introduction to Continuum Mechanics, Rock Mechanics, etc.

In recent years, the curriculum construction of this major has achieved significant results. It has  been   approved  as  5  Jiangxi  Provincial  First-Class  Undergraduate  Courses,  including "Engineering   Mechanics,"   "Engineering   Mechanics   Experiment,"    "Structural   Mechanics," "Elasticity," etc., and 1 Jiangxi Provincial High-Quality Online Open Course, as shown in Figure 1; it has been approved for 5 university-level "Curriculum Ideology and Politics" Demonstration Courses, and 5 university-level first-class courses have been established, as shown in Table 1 and Table 2.
